TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This shit was so fire (no pun intended) I had to come back after the Lucki concert. I highly recommend if you want some good bird
The management is horrible and treats the staff poorly. The female manager does nothing but belittle her employees, yell and ignore parts of her staff sitting outback smoking weed and drinking. The food is ok but the manager and most of the staff are lackluster to say the least. Lakewood has too many other restaurants to give your $$$ to than this one. I'd give it a zero based on management if I could,
Very disappointing. I had high hopes for this restaurant unfortunately everything is just really bland. The tenders them selves are huge which is good considering you're paying almost 5 dollars for a tender. The flavor is just boring, it doesn't really make you want to return. The fries were crispy and seasoned a little didn't do anything to them but not bad. Pickles were delicious I went with the hot version of the chicken and they complemented it well. The wait to get our food was ridiculous 40 minutes. And the staff is walking out the back door to smoke weed and come back in. The store is filthy and tables never cleaned. Will not be back. Disappointed.
Found a hair in my cheese fries . We showed it to the manager and all he did was ask if we wanted another one. After finding a thick black hair in my cheese fries definitely kills someone's appetite. No refund nothing. I've been to LA multiple times and have eaten daves out there and never had this happen to me. They have so many workers just standing around with out hair or beard nets .so it's bound to happen. Definitely disappointed
Good chicken and tasty but service needs to be improved, they completely skipped my 2 slider order and everyone after me with 2 bags full of 3 to go trays got their food before me and that was frustrating to see while the cashiers were making TikTok's and snaps with no regards for customers.
Incompetent and immature staff. When I walked in I thought a 7th grade field trip had taken over the place by the way the front staff was conducting themselves. Screaming in to the order microphone, playing unnecessarily loud music, occasionally making random remarks in to the speaker. The chicken is good, and you get a good amount of food for you money, but it almost wasn't worth it. If the staff and service was better maybe I would give this place a higher review.
