We have been there twice and the food was pretty good although a bit expensive. I was tired after work and tried calling in an order because I just wanted to walk in and pick up my food but the guy that answered the phone said I had to order online. I explained that I wasn't near a computer to order online but he insisted he couldn't take my order over the phone. So I went threw the McDonald's drive through in AG instead.

First time here. I decided to try this place while out for a walk from my hotel stay. Looking at the prices, it is rather expensive for what you get. A two piece chicken strip meal with fries is near $13 and if you want to add an extra (one) strip it is almost $5. I decided in an effort to try the flavors I got three strips; mild, hot, and reaper. It's crazy busy, but it's a 3 star for me. I don't dislike it. It's just not my flavah. For those who like/yum it might tell me "Fry Me A River" We'll Im not gonna fry a river. Is it possible anyway? Seriously, if you haven't tried it, give it a biting chance. Your flavor buds just might be better than mine. I Can surely tell you this, it's good cluck for your buck.

The only reason why it's a four is the staff was very helpful but a little perfunctory. (Like a mechanical device) That is not a bad thing, but if they were more engaged with me I would have loved the experience. Maybe I just like having fun when I go out to eat. Enough about my needs. Love love love Dave's hot chicken!!! Best chicken ever! The counter girl marissa is very friendly and provides excellent customer service. We will always return to Dave's hot chicken in Slo. Five stars

This place is amazing, I walked in 5 minutes before they closed and we ordered my mom wanted to stay and eat but they were about to close so she asked and they said that we could stay and eat and we can take our time no need to rush. When we where waiting the owner I think named allen show us this super cool room that was close off for the night and took his time explaining what the paintings on the wall where. 100% Recommend! First off, the staff is super nice and welcoming. Second, the chicken is soooo juicy! I must say though, today was the first time I've ate here and the cashier said "what level of spice?" And I said, "the hottest you got." Supposedly the hottest is called The Reaper and they make you sign a waiver before you eat it. I will admit...for me it was not THAT hot. It made my nose run but it was definitely tolerable.
