I saw this place from the outside yesterday and their signage caught my eye. I decided to go in and give it a try. The inside was very clean and had nice artwork. Giovanni took my order and had a great attitude. Once I ordered I only had to wait about 6 or 7 minutes to get my food. I ordered the slider sandwich with medium spice as a combo meal with the fries. Dave's Hot Chicken never fails to serve delicious and fresh food!! I absolutely love the aesthetic of the restaurant, they have both indoor AND outdoor dining perfect for our crazy Central Coast weather The service is the best part, they have a friendly staff and a great, quickly service. I've been here many times before and it's my favorite place ever , Jovanni R helped me understand the menu and the different spices, he was very friendly along with the rest of the staff. Great environment, definitely recommend!:)

Super good sliders & fries and I looove the dave's sauce! Dave's has been a staple night out food spot for me & my friends the last few months, and most of the time we come in, Elizabeth is working. She's usually always smiling and ready to help us and answer any questions, even if it's really busy. She also cracks a few jokes with us sometimes, and it always makes us smile. She has a very kind and positive energy and we always appreciate her & all the other nice workers!
We've seen Dave's hot chicken everywhere in LA but we're in SLO when we decided we'd give it a try for the first time! YUMMY flavoring, I think this is officially my favorite place for chicken tenders! even after sitting in the box and cooling, the chicken stayed nice and cripsy ---extra hot chicken tenders: I could handle this level but my stomach was pretty much ON FIRE afterwards so I think I'll go with hot next time!
