TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Matt’s energy at the Arden way location was amazing and was very genuine. I come to Dave’s often and didn’t know about the reward system and he helped me out setting that. One of the better experiences I’ve had while eating at Dave’s. I bet Matt will be a manager soon or they should make him one at least I think customer service matters and his was outstanding.
Sherley and Sophia were the two most kindest snd humble cashiers I’ve ever seen at a restaurant, let alone at a fast food chain restaurant. I have been to this Dave’s 3 times now, and seeing their joy and positive attitude leaves me with a great experience even on my gloomiest days. I’m currently sitting down with my friends and enjoying the #2 with cheese. They’re so kind to talk to and I’m overjoyed to have this Dave’s Hot Chicken with these two over-achieving employees!
Fist time at Dave's Hot Chicken, and I must say, my fiance and I were very pleased all around. The quality of the food and service was superb, and one of the Dave's employees was cleaning up around us. The food was fresh and hot, and the fries were on point.👍🏿👍🏿
Even though drinks aren’t included, combo prices start at a minimum of $11. I ordered a meal that cost over $18, including a drink and tax, but the food looked too cheap for the price. The parking lot is spacious, but there are almost always homeless people around the perimeter, not near the restaurant’s main entrance. For this reason, I suggest using the drive-thru only in the evening.
The food was good and the service was good. I got here right as they opened (sorry) and the lady helping was very nice. The food was out quickly as well. I got the combo number 2 and it was quite delicious. Came out to roughly 18 dollars and honestly kept me full for the whole day so that was great. The price is a bit expensive but the food is great, the flavor is good and the fries are crunchy.
