TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

They are hands down amazing and perfectly balanced with flavor. I'm not usually a fan of slaw on my sandwich but this goes well with the sandwich

We got two of the #2's- ordered them hot. Flavor was awesome. I love spicy food and the hot was just right. You could go hotter but it's not necessary. Flavor was explosive- just so many different spices that were used and worked so well together. Me and my mom both enjoyed the chicken and the special sauce they use. I also liked that the included extra pickles and sauce. The slaw on the sandwich is delicious- I would have bought extra if I had thought of it. My daughter got the strawberry shake- I would use a straw for a li... read more

This place is not joking when they say they say hot chicken! A lot of places I've been in the city that describe their food as hot or spicy I usually am let down. I came in with a buddy thinking it was going to be the case here as well. Walking in felt like a fever dream the decor in here is wild and feels like an acid trip! The menu is fairly simple with a variety of meal combos based around their namesake hot chicken.
