TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Their service is excellent. The chicken sliders are soooo good. I orders a very mild spice and liked it very much. The sauce they out on is great too. I had one slider and fries and it was more than enough for me. It's not a large place, so it might be tight seating if it's busy. I will definitely go back though.
Gotta try any place that serves spicy and/or fried chicken when I'm in a new area, and was in Milwaukee this morning for an appointment. Appointment ended early, but sat outside Dave's for more than a half-hour waiting for them to open. Was not disappointed I did! Service was quick and friendly, some nice polite banter offered... Loved the squeaky chicken mural and the music -- even if a touch loud for 10:30 AM... Ordered the Number 1 -- chicken tenders and fries with Dave's sauce, medium heat level. It was ok. fries were just terrible straight trash. Chicken sandwich was ok. Size makes it a 3 star. Big piece of chicken. If hungry in a rush is better than kfc

The chicken sliders are the best. From spicy hot to mild. Well worth it..... if you like it hot definitely go to Dave's Hot Chicken.....

Great option for lunch at work. I get the "No spice" chicken and their mac & cheese is very creamy and tasty. This franchise has great food.

I don't discriminate with the new restaurant of the week so I will do fast food up to a nice restaurant and everything in between including sketchy neighborhood restaurants. First off I was intrigued by a fast food restaurant achieving 4.5 stars which is basically unheard of for a fast food chain let alone for great restaurants.
