TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's hot chicken is great! I got the special that comes with 2 hot chicken sliders, fries, pickles, and Dave's sauce. I also added cheese to both sliders. The chicken was tender and the spice level was perfect. It wasn't so spicy that it took over but it was more like a spicy flavor. Tonight was my first experience at Daves Hot Chicken and I can honestly say it did not disappoint! The food was great and the service was AMAZING! Andrew and Angelique working at the front counter were so friendly and professional and created an awesome atmosphere! 10/10 recommend!
The chicken sliders were so tender and juicy and had a great amount of flavor with the extra honey and daves sauce! Also the customer service was great and all the employees were happy and cheerful about asking how my experience was. The hot spice level is definetly hot af but so worth it! 2 sliders and Cajun fries for 15$n overall great experience and would go back!
Amazing chicken, amazing people, amazing experience. 10/10 in every capacity, especially Tesha. She was willing to accommodate our every need and helped us out tremendously. Was our first time and we will definitely be coming back!!
Very good Nashville style chicken sandwich. I enjoyed the flavor of the sandwich and tender meal. Heat at medium was tolerable. Good price for the value and lots of parking and crushed ice available was a bonus! I'll be back.
Andre, Joann, angie, saniyah and john were some of the best and nice workers I have encountered. The food that was cooked was absolutely amazing. Most definitely recommend coming here for some chicken. They offered us a free sample of the reaper chicken as well. This place is the bomb.
Dave's coming to my neighborhood may be the most dangerous thing for my wallet. Let's talk about fast food fried chicken sandwiches on the lower east side. Dave's is the only establishment that fits the bill for that description that I would order from. These sandwiches are beyond what you would expect from a "fast food joint".
