Repeat visit for the "not chicken" cauliflower sandwiches. Front counter, Jonathan S. Was excellent in service and crafting the perfect milkshake. The restaurant was clean. The food was hot and fresh. And the manager made an appearance to check on everyone. For fast food, that's not filled with a bunch of crap, this place does a great job!

First time at this specific location, second time eating at Dave's. Dave's is phenomenal. Seriously incomparable. They have the best hot chicken around, hands down. The texture can't be beat. The flavor is marinated down into every pore of chicken flesh. No one else does it quite like Dave's does. This time, I ordered the number 4, which is one tender with one side. Service so slow will NEVER return. I can't believe this it's been over 25 min for a slider the employees are careless and has no regards for other peoples time. Would not recommend this location at all. Hopefully Dave's gets better. (I'm writing this stuck in the drive through) This is ridiculous

This was our first time eating at the Dave's Hot Chicken on Madison and Hazel ave in Sacramento. We ordered one slider combo and a flight of chicken tenders and 6 sides of ranch ($1.50 each) with the idea of having a delicious meal. At the order area in the drive through the attendant asked if it was our first time which we politely replied yes. Once at the window we paid for our meal and waited about 10-15 minutes. Quick version: Employee put my partially eaten food back in the freezer with items waiting to be picked up and was extremely rude. I've been coming here for quite a while and have always enjoyed the food and never had any issues with customer service until last night. After a long wait in the drivethru I politely suggested it might be nice to offer perks for customers to compensate for the slow service. Giving coupons for next time or a free item. The man at the window ( said he was the manager) did not like my suggestion and began yelling at me that I got quality food,,, I said yes but it's too slow. Good chicken but terrible service. I watched as the girl at counter filled 3 huge doordash orders and left me waiting for 15 minutes in the drive-thru. They wouldnt even give an extra sauce packet i asked for due to the wait. Smugly tried to charge for the sauce. Ill gi back to a Daves Hot Chicken, but definitely not this one.
