We finally tried Dave's and we both got the #2. One of us got extra hot and reaper (a signature is needed for the reaper). The other got medium and hot. Out of all of the 4 flavors we tried the reaper was definitely the hottest. I have a high spice tolerance but I would choose the extra hot it's the perfect spice level without the spiciness being to overbearing which I felt that with the reaper. Possibly the best chicken sandwich you will ever have. I discovered the business in Las Vegas and was thrilled when I found out they have a few locations in Sacramento. Highly Recommend!!!

My husband had been talking about trying Dave's Hot Chicken for awhile. The restaurant was clean and the staff were extremely polite. We both ordered the lite mild chicken tenders. I ordered the mac and cheese with mine though. The chicken was juicy and very good with honey and the mac and cheese very cheesy. My husband said the fries were good. If you like spice and want an alternative to a plain fried chicken this is the right fast food chicken place for you.
