TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Placed order online on a Saturday night, was ready quickly with plenty of condiments and sauces. They gave us a free soft drink while we waited for the fries to be made fresh. Very good Chicken Sandwich, the Ghost Pepper which is their hottest offering was not insanely spicy and had great flavor.

Customer service is excellent. Best fries I've had in ages. Mac n cheese-I'll stick to chic-fil-a for now hat. The first think I noticed when I bit into my chicken was the sweetness, which is why I don't really care for chic-fil-a. Spiciness was good, chicken moist....just too sweet.

The service was great! Staff were nice and friendly! It wasn't somewhere I would eat at the restaurant because it seemd like everybody was used to serve drive thru services. But I was definitely okay with that since I'm a homebody The food was good too! I could select level of spice for my tenders and sliders. I tried medium and hot. Medium wasn't spicy at all for me. But I could taste hot level. So I recommend hot level for people who love spicy food. But one thing that was such a shame was that the chickens were powdery ... read more

Great service and excellent chicken. It's my favorite place for hot chicken. Beats Canes by a mile. Give it a try. I usually get the hot chicken slider with fries. The service at the Fair Oaks location is always A+.
