TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Since hot chicken is all the rage, this was my first time giving "Dave's Hot Chicken". Now I am a picky eater and some of the best hot chicken I've eaten was in Nashville, TN. Oddly enough, this chain was actually founded in Los Angeles and now has locations in 20 states across America as well as a few locations in other countries. Do you like fried chicken? Do you like is spicy, between bread? You'll find all that and more here. Honestly one of the better hot chicken sando's in Sacramento. Plus they have great service. Big fan.

Food is very good. Limited menu. A little pricey. But place is clean, staff is friendly and our food was hot and tasty! Music was on the loud side for the dining area. We ordered sliders and chicken nuggets both in medium heat. The spice was really good, nice flavor and not too hot. We will definitely eat here again!

Great chicken! A lot of places are either too greasy or too dry. But this place is neither. And their sides are really good. Every time I order mac & cheese at Popeyes, it's clumpy and looks like it's been sitting under a heat lamp forever. Dave's mac & cheese was creamy and looked and tasted fresh. Human and dog approved!
