Went to Dave's Hot Chicken, to check quality and taste. Most importantly taste. So we ordered two number 4. One regular and one hot. There was no sitting inside but tables outside. It didn't take long for the orders, simple bun with pickles and an vignette based coleslaw. I'd say just the right amount of slaw, pickles and their sauce in the side. Chicken and fries were so over seasoned I couldn't taste anything else. I ordered the medium chicken and it was very moist inside but again, couldn't taste the chicken through the layer of seasoning on top. Customer service was great, very friendly gentleman at the window, but I will be taking my $13 elsewhere and will not be back.

11/10. 100/10. Cannot even put into words how fire this place is. Absolutely shits on raising canes, angry chiks, every other chicken place we have in visalia. just puts them to shame in my opinion. We dined in to get the full experience and thought the service was great. Waited maybe 5 minutes and were served our food. Employee offered us sides of dave's sauce, ketchup, and honey. I did go the last hours so , I guess I kind of expected shitty food , chicken was over seasoned, for the price , I should Of went to canes. The bread on the side is sandwich bread ! No butter , not toasted just bread !

I was in there today May 10th and I over heard a manager by the name of Aura I believe that was her name. I may have spelled it wrong I tried to get a fast glimpse. Anyway I overheard her being extremely disrespectful to an associate. The things that she was saying she should get fired. I just was standing there in disbelief. I went with my sister my food was cold, was not great, my food serving was small and not worth the price way too expensive and the "meals" don't even come with sodas. I won't be going back.

Even though we received great customer service; I will definitely not be going back. The reason why is because of the cost & quality of the food. I went with 2 other people and it had cost the 3 of us a combined total of $40 for 5 pieces of chicken, 1 side of fries, 2 sides of kale slow & 1 small drink. Not just that but the chicken tasted a little over cooked. For the 3 of us it would have been cheaper to go to raising canines. Flavor was outstanding but it's dry, overcooked and too much breaded so it becomes hard . Fries is good too . It's hard not to compare this with canes and angry chicks which are very juicy. They need to cook it just right to maintain its juicy ness. I will give them another chance.
