TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

For some reason this location lacked in the spice department. I have had Dave's many times before but for some reason this place had smaller sandwiches. Not only were the sandwiches smaller but they also didn't really have too much flavor. Now I've tried the hot and extra hot in the bay and it has a kick. So when I brought my dad in to try it I recommended he get the medium and I got the hot. They literally tasted exactly the same. Got the Two Slider combo because the term "slider" made me think they'd be small. Oh no, they are big! One was definitely enough for me. Glad I got extra sauce on the side because it was good for dipping the fries and slider. The "hot" flavor was tasty but I think I'll try extra hot next time.
Ordered through the app on Sunday, April 30th. I love Dave's hot chicken and am so glad a location opened in Visalia. Pick up was easy, but I didn't check my bag before I left.. They forgot one of my fries order (I ordered 2) and I was already home by the time I checked. No honey or utensils even though I marked it on the order so just a little disappointed. Tried the new Dave's in Visalia. It was very good and hot. The service was very slow. BUT it's fairly new so I'm sure it will improve as the employees get familiar with their jobs. Will try again for sure. I went through drive thru so haven't seen the inside.
Ordered delivery. It wasn't terrible, it wasn't great. I liked the Mac and Cheese, my wife thought the cheese fries were soggy and not so cheesy. The sliders were pretty fair although I had digestive issues the next 24 hours. They may or may not have had something to do with that, idk
First tried this place in Korea Town (Los Angeles) so happy it's here in town now. Love their food and I've gotten some of the family into Dave's.
First time to try this place. Jacob and Marcos were very kind and helpful (they took our order). Food came out quick and chicken was super crispy and fries were good. Pickles were really good. Would definitely come back. The sliders were very good! Loved the sauce on them.
GET RICH OF DIE FRYIN !!!!!! please stop by & get yourself a number 2 medium sub fries for a Mac n cheese you will not regret it also the young man in the front NICHOLAS is very polite and has GREAT customer service skills !!!!! He's very ambitious we drive all the way from Fresno ca and he makes sure to offer us drinks && anything else we need
Extra hot is definitely a spicy heat. Fries are crispy which I love but are heavily salted. The only disappointment was the sandwich was very light in the slaw. I didn't think there was any at all.
