TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Delicious!!!! Man that slider is tasty af. The more spicy the better. Don't be afraid to go up to the reaper level of spicy.
My coworkers decided the grand opening was the perfect place to order our weekly lunch. What they didn't know was how long the line would be. Went past the gate the entire time I was there. The wall decor/paintings are really cute, the tables were nicely spaced as well. They have a large table that could fit 8-10 people, perfect place for hanging out. This review is the for soft opening but the open today and if I'm being honest the soft opening was like they were open. Dave's Hot Chicken for Life. This place is in an excellent location with ample parking, right by In and Out in Vintage Oaks. You may not get a spot right up front but you can park in the shade and walk over, it's not bad. Really good quality chicken, yummy nugget ice in their ice machine, spices has me on the toilet about 20 minutes after consuming... likely a personal problem vs a restaurant issue
It was a piece of real chicken, on my Slider. It was also small and overpriced. $18.50 for a dinky sandwich and a shake in a fast food joint doesn't work for me. Shake tasted good, though.
This could have ranked right up there with the worst fried chicken I've ever had. The chicken was dry and tasteless and the batter coating was so dark brown it bordered on burned . The french fries were cold and essentially uncooked, but boy did they ever pour on the salt.. inedible. And the chocolate shake was mediocre at best. I was born and raised in the South and I believe I know a thing or two about fried chicken. Money down the drain!!
If I could give a 0 star I would but unfortunately had to give at least one star. Chicken was way over seasoned, pickles were overly seasoned themselves and manager made me uncomfortable. Ambiance of the place is it's too busy as far as decor goes and I got the feeling the employees didn't like it there too much either. Chicken was not good for what was paid for it. Will not be returning.
