Dave's hot chicken is what I would consider the best place to go in Novato if you're looking for an amazing meal and something that is affordable yet worth every dollar too! The guy who is behind the counter, or the girl is always kind and very receptive and a good listener, as I am somebody who does like to talk lol. Go check it out if you have it and if you're a big In-N-Out fan that's right next-door and they're both equally amazing companies.

Although I really love bone-in fried chicken, my daughter insisted I try Dave's for lunch. Well, I wasn't disappointed - and I'll tell you next time my wife and I will split a single order since you can ask for different spice levels for each piece! The bread is a bit funny, I guess it's there to sop up any leftover grease from the fryer? NOVATO - HAS DAVES HOT CHICKEN!!! I love Dave's for the food & service. The chicken is plump & juicy. Service is quick & friendly. Sit in or outside with a fast food service style. Perfect for a quick bite! SPICE LOVERS: Challenge yourself to do the REAPER - it's not that bad, promise ‍

When I first ordered I thought the prices were a little high, but after enjoying our dinner it was worth every penny. We tried the hot extra hot and reaper and trust me when I yell you the hot is indeed hot and the reaper is... Incredibly hot. I'm not a complete wuss when it comes to spice I order my Thai food 4 out of 5 spice but the reaper makes that feel like mild. Great fries and delicious chicken!

Dave's is good and I like the food, the restaurant has a good theme and Is also open decently late when your hungry at night, the service is also pretty good and I have no complaints, my only issue is the price, a meal here tends to be upwards of 15 dollars witch is pretty high compared to other options in the vintage oaks, but if you have the money it's a great eat

The mild is actually pretty spicy, so be careful ordering for kids. This is pretty mediocre food. If you're not a spice fan, you may feel like I do, and remove this from your list. The staff is very nice and they are fast. It's just not for me.

The bread doesn't combine with the delicious spicy chicken. I like the idea of having the chicken from non spice to very spicy fiesta amigos.

Is the food good yes. But is it worth it-- not really for the price. It is not even organic chicken. Tried it once that was enough for me.

I like the decor, lots of seating inside and outside as well. I like the fact that you can pick how spicy you want your chicken. I wish they were a little faster in getting the food ready.
