TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Great hot chicken. Spicy like fire. Awesome. Top notch fries. Crisp, tasty. Also great staff. Shout out to the team here. My ambitious young daughter insisted on trying the extra hot chicken which, despite her encouragingly increasing appetite for spicy, defeated her. The team here offered replacement - which was not expected and very kind - and meant we left very satisfi Good customer service counts for a high score in this digital world. Plenty of it here!

The food was good, well prepared. Chicken was juicy, the crinkle fries were hot and crispy. The extra pickle chips on the side were crunchy and tasty. There was a side sauce that bordered on non-descript, though creamy. All the fried chicken filets looked absolutely gorgeous, big, juicy, crunchy and stellar. On my slider the chix filet hung way out of both ends and the coleslaw inside was perfect. Super friendly staff. I have been hearing wonderful things about this place, so it was finally my time to give it a whirl. When an establishment has a limited menu- chicken sandwich or chicken tenders, it better be damn good and I am happy to report that they knocked it out of the park. The chicken is truly the star, it was crispy, moist and the seasoning was on point. Finally an establishment that understands chicken needs heavy seasoning.
