Not bad. The medium was pretty hot. The fries have an interesting seasoning. I do not recommend the mac and cheese unless you're under 10 years old and/or like bland overcooked pasta. The pickles were yum.

Its not bad...just seemed kind of heavy. Its not a typical fried chicken, its more heavily seasoned and fried. We tried the slider & tenders. Our chicken was juicy but our friends was dry. We tried the mac n cheese and milkshakes. All tasty. Definitely needed an nap or hike afterwards, not sure which Staff were very friendly, line got long really quickly and they immediately stepped up with another staff member to take orders directly from the line. Decor was urban, cool. Nice outdoor area.

OK. So I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed Dave's Hot Chicken. I mean, I shouldn't be surprised -- I mean, it's a deep fried, spicy chicken sandwich, so it should be good. You say "deep fried, spicy chicken sandwich" to someone, and one would assume that it is tasty. How could it not? But it's not that simple. I've had plenty of fried, spicy chicken sandwiches in my days... and just because it's a fried, spicy chicken sandwich, it doesn't automatically mean that it's good. Luckily when I arrived it wasn't so busy, usually this place is packed with people. Line usually goes out the door. I tried a mild and a Carolina reaper sandwich . I will admit that the Carolina reaper sandwich is nothing to take lightly . Upon the first bite the crispness of the chicken is very delightful, but the heat from the reaper burns down through one's esophagus. I don't feel like I should have to spend as much as I do for fried chicken at most places these days... but if I'm going to give in to my craving, Dave's is my top choice now. At lunchtime, it does take about 15 mins for the food to be done - but you're ensured hot, crispy, moist, freshly made chicken. The sides are pretty damn good. Went here for the first time ever, had no idea what to expect, but the chicken is so flavorful and fried perfectly. it's not super moist or dry, and the dusting on the fries is super yummy. I went with mild to be safe as the spice levels go up to reaper but the mild was exactly perfect!

I've seen so many Dave's hot chicken all over the place and I was so excited when I finally get to try when they opened at this location. I am a huge fan of Hot Boys so the bar is pretty high for chicken sandwiches. The location has plenty of parking.
