First visit to Dave's. Not bad. I should've dined in, ordered ahead and my food sat too long. Lesson learned. Chicken was good I prefer chicken a little on the room temp anyways. Spicy and tasty.

We stopped by Dave's for our 1st visit and I was not disappointed in the food. We ordered two #4s (Tender slider, w/ fries, and med drink). We were greeted when we entered the restaurant, questions about the menu were answered and we ordered. My wife's fountain drink was mostly water and very light on syrup. The tea was good. The food came out pretty quickly (but not like it was sitting under a heat lamp waiting for the next customer). The chicken and slaw really went well together. I enjoyed the quantity of pickles. Why 3 stars? Because the fries were good, but the chicken was just fine. --- --- --- I headed down to League City to hang out with some family for an afternoon and asked my brother to choose a place where I should pick up food from. He mentioned Dave's, but I was skeptical given the 3.2 star rating. I sent him a couple of local alternative places I'd wanted to try, but let the decision ultimately in his hands.
