TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Great food and service all around! The server, Mia, was awesome, giving great suggestions. Got the slider combo, and chose Hot which was a good amount of heat but not crazy.
Excellent customer service received from Mary. First time eating here, ordering was quick and easy. Been seeing this place online and finally got time to stop by and try it. Excited to try it and see how much I enjoy it like the others I see online .
Great food and friendly service. We love Dave's hot chicken as a quick stop for a good meal before we hit the airport.

Came here on my granddaughter's advice with my wife and wow we were impressed! The chicken tenders are delicious, didn't think I would eat my entire double chicken tender meal.....but I did. Loved the Hot dry rub mix & it definitely had a kick to it. The staff were very efficient and polite. Without naming names... best chicken place I've been to in a while. Good job Dave's Hot Chicken.... we'll be back!
I came back yet again... I absolutely love this place for chicken. Those who love fried chicken must try this spot out! I usually add the honey and Dave's sauce into my slider and tender, but if you don't want the chicken too sweet then you can just add the Dave's sauce. I typically go for medium spice as it's not too spicy but has just enough for a good kick. Overall, highly recommend this spot, if you don't eat a lot, try just getting the slider. Food was delicious and I love how you can adjust the spice level. Fries are seasoned well and don't forget to add honey and of course the Dave's sauce on the slider. Pickles were thick and crunchy. Service was decent but lunch hour was packed. Ambiance was clean. Esteban and Bruce had amazing service!
The chicken was crispy, hot, and spicy. The roll was soft, the aioli was sweet and creamy cutting through the heat. This is very good chicken cooked to order. That results in slow service. Not an in and out so could be tough on someone on a work lunch break. It's otherwise in the debate for best hot chicken in NH. Loved it.
First time at Dave's. We shared the sliders. Ordered medium spice. Chicken was freshly cooked served hot with slaw and pickles on an undersized bun, messy. Tasty, but extremely salty. Fries were also over seasoned with the same spice mixture. Too much of the same flavor for me. Chocolate shake was average. I noticed that all the orders were packaged as to go. We weren't asked if we were taking out, or eating in. Lots of styrofoam containers and plastic bags. Not very green.
