TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Service was good but sadly the chicken was not. The chicken was too bready and the hot sauce inconsistently hot. Also very expensive for a fast food chicken place.. Not going back
So excited for a new place to open. Tried on a Monday. Chicken was seasoned different. Seasoning was good. Chicken itself was luke warm Fries were different degress of cold to luke warm. Drink was great. Order taker was very nice. Took 22 minutes for my order. Expediter was not very good. Music was way too loud. Place was not that clean. Could not hear the order number called. Will not be back. What a shame.
I wanted to try the new place. Walked up to the door and realized it was just another fast food chicken place. Didn't even open the door! I wanted to go somewhere to sit and eat and have a drink. Not the place! I'll go to KFC's for chicken. I wanted to sit and dine. This is not the place for that. Good luck sticking around! I'm sure this place will just fall off like all the other restaurants that tried on this location..... looking forward to the next place that tries.... I miss Chili's!.... NEXT!!!
Everything tastes the same. It's like a one size fits all place. Same flavor just different spice level. Tables weren't being bussed. If you are eating in, prepare to sit at a dirty table. Felt like a mall food court. Sticky floors, sticky tables.
It's ok, nothing special. Truly fast food. No service. Prices seem high for amount of food. Fries were good. Chicken ok. Cauli bites had no flavor. Sorry guys. I was very hopeful it would be awesome. Underwhelmed.
Food is excellent. Service is awful. It's been 35m since I ordered. No line. Seems the employees in kitchen are just messing around back there. Also saw someone in kitchen eating a piece of chicken. Once I got the meal it was not even hot. Cold chicken like it's been sitting. This is probably one of the worst Dave's hot chicken I've been to. The one down in mass is 100% better. Management needs to step up their game here.
These reviews are pretty spot on. Overall it's a good sandwich. I got a number 4 and small drink. It was the cheapest thing on the menu and was $14.41 total. Its good but not good enough to come back at these prices. Best of luck to them but I'm betting they'll be closed within a year.
2nd time I've door dashed from them and I have had missing items both time. Order extra sauces and an extra side of fries. Got the fries but zero sauces
Honestly the food was good but the service I saw and received from Vince was uncalled for. I saw him talking inappropriately to the females in front of me, I think he was trying to do an Elvis impression or something, it was awkward and made me feel uncomfortable. Like I said, food was good but I don't know how you hire someone like this person Vince to represent the company.
