TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This chicken spot is a nicer fast food experience. They have a drive through and inside option but we opted to eat inside which had a nice mural. The chicken was really juicy and fried perfectly, we ordered "hot" and it definitely lived up to the name, next time I would probably order "medium" cause it was a little too spicy for me but it was definitely delicious. They also give you honey and Dave's sauce which both complement the chicken perfectly. I didn't try the sandwich but my fiancé said it was great also.
The food was good and delicious. Felt the service could be better, as the cashier was a bit rude, but it could be because of the high volume of traffic in the store. The ambiance is ok I guess, feels like they need more space.

The food was okay, not outstanding flavor(s). My partner and I ordered via the drive thru which took 30 (yes...30) minutes to go through with only 2 people ahead of us. It was very slow service and the drive through person was not friendly. We weren't amazed and wouldn't go out of our way for it.
