We ordered three meals online and picked them up with no problems. The order was correct. The service was friendly. When the family gets chicken takeout, I either have to settle for fries, order from another restaurant, or just eat at home since I'm a vegetarian. Thought I'd give the Not Chicken sandwich a try since I love cauliflower. Oh, my, it was sooooo good! Please keep it on the menu and I promise we'll eat there more often. Thanks for thinking outside the box for a meat alternative item. Much appreciated!

First visit, tester run...Best customer service; great chicken & fries. Chicken is fried perfectly, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried the Medium Level of spicy and it was more flavorful then anything. I'll have to go up a notch or two for a real kick. Definitely going to return to try all their other sides. Service was fairly quick, food was good and hot. They were not that busy for a lunch hour, but I bet their business picks up once word gets around. Dave's is a fun new and casual addition to the Vestavia area. I was able to visit Dave's on opening night and again more recently. I agree with other reviews that Sliders are a hearty size, more of a chicken sandwhich. I like that they have a range of spice levels. I do enjoy spicy food and did not think the medium was spicy. Also, I really enjoy their Dave's house sauce. A solid spot for hot chicken craving.
