Dave's was good!!! The line was out the door but it moved fast. Be prepared to wait..it's worth it! I got the hot chicken finger and slider with fries. The chicken was fresh and so good. The star of the show was the slider! The Dave's sauce compliments it very well. The fries with the Dave sauce was perfect. I definitely recommend everyone try it!

Chicken is tender and delicious. Do not get the reaper unless if you want to suffer through the entire meal. It was brutal, and you have to sign a waiver to get the reaper. I can handle very spicy foods, and the reaper was just too hot. Extra hot wasn't hot enough. My only complaint is I wish there was a happy medium between extra hot and reaper. The fries and sauce were tasty as well.

Great place! The food is amazing and the time and effort put into everything... from the paint on the walls to the seasoning on the fries... you can tell have a lot of "love" put into it! Glad to have a new place in Vestavia AL!

I've been seeing Dave's all over tiktok and I was so happy when I found out that one was opening in Birmingham. Once I saw how packed the place was on a Wednesday night, I knew it would be gas. I ordered a hot slider and hot tender with fries. The other reviews I saw were complaining about the spice being lackluster. Maybe I'm just a wuss but I think that the chicken was pretty spicy. I had to use a bunch of sauce. To me the fries were really good and crispy and the sauce is AMAZING. I would like to see more on the menu but ... read more

My partner has been waiting on this since the start of the summer. Today we made it! For the day after grand opening, we waited about 20-30 minutes before being served. Pretty good! The food itself was fine. It didn't blow my mind nor disappoint. The hot apparently isn't that hot. If you're looking for a burn, go higher on the scale.
