No idea how this place has a 3.9 current rating on Yelp. They have a 4.9 on Google reviews...so I needed to get to the bottom of this discrepancy myself. 1. First of all, the chicken is awesome! Had the sliders (medium). Be prepared they're girthy lol 2. Staff were nice, helpful and attentive. 3. It is a little on the loudish side...I enjoyed it to be fair. Love this food! Medium spice is perfect for me. Chicken is tender and juicy and love the pickles and kale slaw in the slider. Make sure to try a shake and take some time to look around the huge store at the artwork. Staff is really friendly which makes it a really nice experience. I'm not sure how anyone is comparing this to Popeyes. This food is superior by far.

Wowwwwwwww. Dave's hot chicken. You've really done it now. The sliders are huge. For starters. If you look at the picture I took the piece of chicken on the left sandwich went off the bun all the way to the corner of the food container. These sliders are full-on sandwiches in my opinion. I was full after one and some fries. When I bit into the chicken it actually made juicy chicken noises twice. I was like, what? The fries are crispy and I like them! The sauce is good too. Tabasco sauce is 2500-5000 Scoville units (a measure of spiciness). I eat hot sauce that's 750,000 Scovilles. Dave's is one of only two restaurants I've ever ordered from in my entire life, that actually serves truly hot food, as a regular menu item. Their Reaper sauce should only be eaten by professional heat hounds. Crazy hot. Food is great. Try it.
