Everything was amazing!! Today was a soft opening and the lines were super long but they were moving really quickly. I may have waited 30 minutes total and it was worth it! The food is amazing! The restaurant is small and " squeezed" in with a very small parking lot. You have to be alert when you park or you will get towed. The food and service is not the best. Long wait for food when restaurant was not busy at all. Chicken nuggets were not cooked thoroughly .

Chicken was great and amazing. UNTIL!!!! my husband I are 11-year-old daughter came out in our car was gone. Our car was towed and Dave's hot chicken is to blame. They literally hire people to sit in the parking lot and watch you park in the lot next two days hot chicken and once you walk in, they tow your car we parked in the parking lot next to Dave's hot chicken in front of IHOP because after we got done with our food, we were going to go have ice cream to surprise our 11-year-old daughter and this is what we get. The food had like really greasy overcooked stuff. The service was so slow and their machines were all broken. It took 15 minutes to get my order in which was only a milkshake because they didn't have any options for people like me. The restaurant was low-key loud and super crowded.

As other people have said - DO NOT park next door where Outback is- you will get towed! They have thugs in the parking lot just looking for people to park and walk over to Dave's. I only parked there because traffic is tricky this stretch of Battleground Ave. I went in to get a to go order (15 minutes only) and when I got out my car was GONE. $362 later and halfway to Burlington I got my car back. Walk up and order and pick up food at the counter. Cute place. They have heat choices ranging from No spice to Reaper with 5 levels in between. I'm the first to like spice. Love jalapeños, Franks, Tabasco. I thought hot would be good. Level 5 of 7. Uhm, WAY too hot. Couldn't taste food. Too overpowering for my taste. Chicken, slaw and pickles were good. The hype was very played, unfortunately the food was very disappointing. (To each their own) the breading on the tenders made the experience even worse. The breading felt under done and mushy. If I peeled all the breading and over seasoning off I am left with a plain Jane tender which is way better.
