Very professional staff. No waiting. Dental hygienist does excellent job.

The service is always prompt, courteous and professional. They follow up and send needed reminders. They are always on time and that is appreciated. Dr. Melton is first class in his skills and is a very caring professional. I always recommend him when someone is looking for a dentist.

Dr. Shepherd and staff are exceptionally kind. They saw me on very short notice to correct a minor dental injury. I have seen them for years and always been very pleased with their professionalism and the upbeat atmosphere.
Dr. Shepherd has been my dentist for about 30 years, with the exception of a couple of years, prior to which I must have experienced a loss of sanity. I listened to some coworkers who recommended a dentist closer to home. After the WORST experience ever, I returned to Dr. Shepherd's office and never looked back. I still travel from Trussville to Riverchase for my dental care and wouldn't change a thing about the care and friendliness of this office. I haven't met Dr. Melton, but Dr. Shepherd and their staff are the best!
I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment time and was taken in immediately. My cleaning began on time and was completed, along with my examination, in 30 minutes. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Shepherd and Dr. Melton.
Appointment times are managed well. This is the only health professional's office I patronize where I DON'T have to wait 15-60 minutes to be seen.
