I just went to davids bridal for my dress alterations and I gained weight since I bought my dress. I started crying because you know a week before your wedding you would like your dress to fit. My mother went to the seamstress and the she came over immediately. She calmed me down and said don't worry we can fix this. I'm not sure how she did it but she made it work! The seamstress Maria and Bernadette have been nothing but amazing! I can't thank them enough for making my big day easier!!
I had an amazingggg experience. It wasn't over crowded, my consultant Ruth was always on top of things, brought me the dresses I printed out but seeing them on me and seeing that I wasn't pleased brought me a couple others and one of them was THE dress! They were all so patient with me, I couldn't have had a better experience while shopping for my wedding dress. ��

Had tried on ten dresses before finding one that I liked. Its kind of exhausting trying to fit into something within an hour. The young lady attending us was very helpful and the seamstress. Just happy to be mother of the groom. If I was the bride, I'd need a whole day trying to pick a dress. �

My mother, sister and two nieces went on a whim back in February. The consultant was definitely new and didn't really understand what I was going for. My sister found the PERFECT dress and I fell in love with it. Went back yesterday with my mom and niece and had Faith (sp?) and she was BEYOND amazing! Although I agree that the David's bridal in Colonie is mass confusion on weekends and you do feel overwhelmed, I want to say what a wonderful experience my daughter and I have had working with Maria in alterations. She really knows what's going on even when others employed there do not. She's professional, polite and very personable. Working with her has made our bridal shopping a more pleasurable experience.
