Shocking Customer Service! My husband & I took our daughter to David’s Bridal today, after being recommended, looking for a prom dress. As soon as we walked in the store we were greeted with a very rude receptionist which said ‘you got an appointment?’ not even a Good morning! We replied no, we’re here to look at prom dresses which didn’t need an appointment. She pointed and said ‘over there’ We then proceeded to look around at the very small selection of dresses they had, which is very different to what they have online. We... read more

I had a magical experience here, travelling over 100 miles was well worth it. I had previously tried on 50 dresses, but coming here was phenominal: the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgable, with a a wide variety and huge selection of dresses (and other bridal options like suits and jumpsuits) the shop also does everything from jewellery to pyjamas. I had my first ever bridal appointment today and Paige was absolutely amazing!! I had no idea what I wanted but Paige was so patient and listened to what I liked and disliked. She helped me find a style and colour that I love (which was totally unexpected) when I genuinely thought I may be walking down the aisle in my pjs. Thank you so much to Paige, we will be back! I went today for my first ever bridal appointment. I was nervous and completely body conscious. Kate and Lydia were absolutely amazing. They guided me through different styles and colours and hyped me up when I needed it. They were so friendly, professional and amazing at what they do. I cannot recommend them or David’s bridal enough. I am chuffed to say that I went from being nervous I would be too fat to fit into any dress or look nice to saying yes to the most spectacular dress! What David's bridal could improve: Send the correct item. Provide proper customer care when errors take place. Do everything possible to make the customer feel reassured A bride has one opportunity to buy her dream wedding dress. My experience has been a nightmare. They sent the wrong colour and size dress, clearly no quality checking procedures in place. Went in looking for a charity ball dress and left very happy, I find the whole thing very uncomfortable as dress’s aren’t me and don’t have much confidence in this area, however I would so recommend the Birmingham store and a huge thank you to a new staff member I believe was called Libby. After having a fabulous service when I ordered my dress. I have now just been crushed. Had a phone call to say I have 7 days to collect all my stuff. After having been told a month ago they would keep everything for me until new year as I live 100 miles away. So my dress and all accessories as well as my 3 year olds dress is now being sent in the post without the opportunity of trying it on as I can’t get there in 7 days.
