Very dissatisfied with David's Bridal, and their very poor customer service. Their associates are commission sales driven, and only driven by that motive. About a month and a half ago, on the phone I specifically asked the sales rep to help my bridesmaid order her dress online. She ignored what I asked & did not do this. When my bridesmaid left the store, she told me the rep kept telling her to do it online herself. The sales rep (Ruva) did not listen to me, and chose not to do her job because she wasn't getting a commissio... read more

Appointment at 5 pm. We are still here at 7:30 pm. Party of 5, so not a lot of measurements needed. Took 45 minutes just to check out. Confusion over discounts, cashier was told color to order and still ordered wrong one. We had to go get the dresses back off the shelf because she didn’t write down the item numbers the first 5 times we were all together.

I love my dress and it’s beyond beautiful. The alterations went great and I have the perfect gown for my big day. I didn’t like how pushy some of the sales ladies are, it feels like going to a car dealership. Just to look around you have to sign in, it feels like they push you to get more accessories and extras just to make more commission. When I came to pickup my dress and try it on, no one offered to help since it was already paid for. If I didn’t already love my gown, I would have gone elsewhere.

It was my first time ever shopping for a wedding dress. I honestly didn't expect to go home with one. I just wanted to get a feel of it before I really made a decision. Anyway I found a beautiful dress that I decided was "the dress" and was so excited. I got to the cash register and was then told that my dress was a "clearance/sale" dress. At the time I saw it had a discount but I didn't think much of it. This is when the consultant informed me that this dress could no longer be ordered and that it would actually be a sample... read more

I went to the Davids Bridal in Madison Heights, MI. I believed I would find at least an idea of the dress I wanted or my actual dress at best, but I was terribly wrong. The dresses I tried were terrible. I was open to try ANYTHING. I had no idea what I would like, but no matter what I picked or my style helper, Justine, picked, they were terrible. Terrible quality, terrible feeling, & ugly. The appliqué on 90% of the dresses were terribly put on & I could pick them off if I wanted to. Any lace dress was scratchy & felt like ... read more

Forgive me as I never really got names for various people here, but I have to say, this store has it's ups and downs. I found my dress and was able to have alterations done quickly even after moving my wedding date up to November, from February, so I appreciate the alteration's department's kindness and flexibility with that. However, getting my dress was a hassle and uncomfortable. I was working with a girl, Bree, who was apparently new, hadn't been there long and didn't have a clue on how to pick dresses out that I liked. ... read more

I had my appointment and my consultant was not personable at all in the beginning and she seemed somewhat frazzled. Luckily by the end of the 1.5 hour appointment she had finally warmed up to me and my group and things felt like they were going smoother. I did end up finding "the dress" but it took her so long to ask if it was the dress so I was just standing there with everyone watching me while we talked about the dress and tried on veils to pass time. Overall I ended up bringing home a dress that day so that was happy! Th... read more
