I made 2 appointments 1 for my Mom and FMIL the 2nd for my 4 bridesmaids. When I arrived for the mom's appointments. They claimed that there was no record of the appt. even though I confirmed it a few days before and they said they would "squeeze" us in. They gave us a consultant and she was new, you could tell, and she didn't measure the moms or anything she was just like here are the dresses. After reading the glowing reviews here I just knew I was going to have an amazing experience at the Old McKnight Rd location. For the most part I did. The staff were helpful, warm, and helped me create the perfect color palette for by bridesmaids. That was a 5 star experience. After we found dresses for the bms, I asked to try on wedding dresses and I am grateful they found time for me to do this on a weekend. My stylist was no help at all and was very rude. One dress I tried on that I didn't like andher response was "well honey that is a dress that YOU picked".
Worst dress buying experience all around. I was made to wait well past my appointment time, asked my budget and had it exceeded by double without being told prices until at the register.... why even ask if you're going to disregard completely... I purchased a veil and didn't even receive it in my bag with the dress and other accessories I bought. I went today with a group of 6 supporters and walked out teary eyed and heart broken. The entire experience was a wreck. From barely having anything in my size (per the sales lady), only being allowed to try on FOUR dresses for my appointment (that's all their allowed to let us try on per an appointment per sales lady), to being told a big group makes finding a dresser harder. She was very pushy, completely rushing me, and not very friendly. But on the plus size, the lady who checked me in was the sweetest!
I made an appointment weeks ago for my bridal party to look for their dresses today, with hopes that it would be a great experience. However, the consultant we had was absolutely horrible. We got no help from her, she only showed us where the long gowns were and where the short gowns were. My girls tried a bunch of different gowns on. Absolutely HORRIBLE! Made an appointment today to try on dresses. Being a first time bride I was overly excited and ready to just be a princess. That didn't happen. Why make an appointment when the consultants are so busy, barely spend anytime with you and offer little to absolutely NO help. The staff I encountered were very rude. Went there today with the bride and the wedding party. We had appointment we were excited. And we had hardly no help we were told yup dresses are over there to look. So we did all tried dresses found ones we like but only to find we couldn't get them. They had the color we picked out a head of time you would think they would help us out.
