I more than hated it, this was the worst dress shopping experience ever! It doesn't even deserve a star! I had an appointment for 3 of my bridesmaids for over 3 months prior. We arrived on time and got told that a person would be over to help us shortly, 20 or so minutes she shows up. Today I went dress shopping with my bridal party, I did find my perfect dress! I'm not impressed at all with the girl we had to deal with. (Sara) First off, she wasn't very friendly. They had 2 workers call off so one of there girls(mine) was taking care of 3 brides!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I had a horrible experience at Davids Bridal where I ended up in tears in the store. I had my appointment for 11am. I got the email for confirmation and a reminder call the day before about my appointment. They also reminded me that it would be 60 minutes. We got there about 10 minutes early and waited for someone to help us. By the time some one cam to the front there were three groups waiting. I've gone into this store and gotten many dresses from this store before the move. Today I had to call the store to find it since the other older location didn't have a sign on the door to let customers know where they moved to. I walk into the new store and no one is there to greet nor help me. After a few minutes of walking around and browsing myself someone asks if I need help. As far as the Oak Lawn location is concerned, it was a far different experience than opposed to 4 years ago. The staff was inattentive, the lady who helped us was jumping from another customer and just left us to fend for ourselves. When we went to the counter to ask for a swatch, the lady literally looked at us, didn't acknowledge us and went to the other guests she was ringing up. I bought my dress in spite of my consultant who after I specifically asked not to tell me my size - decided to tell me what she thinks my bra size was after I already decided on my dress. Let's just say she said my band size was 42 - my band size was actually 36 (and yes that's without any back rolls and fitting perfectly). She had no idea how to do bra sizing and she shouldn't even pretend to be knowledgeable about it.
Took my daughter here and it was not a great day the lady helping us kept saying she was to small and she may not find the right dress each time we asked if we could try one on she would say it's not going to look good on your. My daughter for depressed and we left.
I will NEVER go to this David's Bridal again. I have never had a fun experience. I continue to go back and give them another chance, but this time did it for me. I have always made an appointment just like I am supposed too. My money is just as good as the next person, and I am tired of being treated like trash.
Came in and was looking to buy a dress to wear to a wedding and was rudely turned away. No where online was I told by appointment only. Why do I need an appointment if I know what size I am? Completely disappointed and will not be returning.
