Prom 2017- My daughter found her dress and loved it until 45 minutes before she was to leave for prom when the zipper broke (not away from the seam, but split and separated). I called David’s Bridal and talked to Teala the manager about the mortifying experience. Her offer to rectify the situation was to offer us a 10% "damage" refund and to replace the zipper on a dress that my daughter will never wear again. The entire company is a disgrace to customer service. This store, and multiple of their corporate call center colleagues, define rude and unprofessional!! It is a nightmare for brides! The first time I went in, I didn't have an appointment, so I understood she had to work with other customers. BEWARE of davids bridal on bardstown road that place is a joke inside and out (the store is disgusting). I wonder how many other bridesmaids and brides they've screwed over already. I guess they simply neglected to notify the ENTIRE bridal party that the dresses they picked would take 20 weeks to receive even after originally stating they can be ordered as late as may? What a nightmare! And they didn't even APOLOGIZE.
Was looking for prom and we were looking on are own which was fine not being pushed to pick .We then got registered went right in to a fitting room. Although we waited in line to pay for awhile before they opened more registers I would go again.
We were made to feel like an inconvenience. Never had our lady come and ask us anything while we were trying on dresses and we were crammed in the middle of a huge wedding party when there were plenty of empty rooms on the other side of the store. I will never go back!
I will never in a million years do any business with David's Bridal. They are a week late on my daughters communion dress, and lied to me about taking the straps in for free. The dress is still not in the store today and her communion is this Sunday! I am beyond mad. The only reason I was getting her dress from here was because it was promised to be in on April 17 after I told them no later then April 20. After the dress was not in on time they told me they would do the alteration I needed and they would eat the cost of it. ... read more
