Store service is great--alterations service is the worst. Had a 5:45pm pick up time for my daughters prom dress & they were still working on it. Finally ready at 7pm!! Horrible experience & very poor customer service, they should have called to reschedule!!
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! My sister went to this David's bridal to get her wedding gown which she ordered MONTHS ago. Dress can in and looked great, then the alterations started. They sewed ALL of the layers underneath the dress together!!!! And then ripped it apart with my sister sitting in the other room, almost in tears listening to her dress get torn apart. Everything except alterations was a great experience. The wedding dress hem was sloppily done. There was excess uneven material showing through the sheer fabric that common sense would have told you it needed to be trimmed. We had traveled from an hour away to pick the dress up after receiving notice that it was ready, but I wouldn't take it home as it was. I have been to David's Bridal in Greenville several times, and have always been impressed with them. I bought my wedding dress there, have bought several bridesmaid dresses there, and I even went and picked out bridesmaids dresses for my wedding there. I haven't had a bad experience until this week. I have a small bridal consulting business and had a bride that went to David's Bridal in Fayetteville, NC to search for her dream dress...She had an appointment so that was not an issue. The issue was that the customer service was extremely poor. She was not offered any assistance and the clerk almost seemed annoyed to be having to assist her.
