We starting looking for a dress in Cambridge on Sat. 7 pm We found a dress however size they didn't have they called Hamilton, they did have the size and agreed to put on hold for 24 hours under my name. Went home made an appt for Sunday morning in Hamilton so that we would be able to try this dress on for 11am Sunday. This isn't about the dress itself - it's lovely and I can't wait to wear it. The experience, though, was pretty bad (caveat: Maha from alterations is wonderful and gave it her all). I had initially purchased a dress in August '16 with the plan to have some of the illusion netting removed on the back (an alteration suggested by the sales associate when I told her I didn't like the back, with the assurance that it was straightforward). Worst shopping experience ever! Booked an appointment we called a head and warned that we had a lot of bridesmaids and they decided to share our staff with a bride, felt terrible for the bride she should have had more attention. We got little attention and we had to go searching for our own sizes for each dress we wanted to try on. I was a late addition to a wedding (March, and wedding is August 5th) so, not too late. I called David's Bridal the next day after being asked (end of February), and told them the wedding date, and wanted to make sure I would have a dress on time. Two different girls told me 19 weeks for Vera Wang dresses, and that I would be fine. I went today to pick up my wedding dress, a day that is suppose to be happy and exciting to actually try on your dress in you actual size. Unfortunately that was not the case, I made an appointment so I could have someone assist me as I wanted to try on a second dress for the reception. This person that was suppose to be helping me was nowhere to be found. The ladies in alterations were very nice, I wish they would give you more information regarding alterations prices. They dont price alterations prices any where. When making my appointment originally I asked how much I should budget and was told by the sales staff $200 - $250 so I did. They basically took me in the fitting rooms, got me in my dress and pinned and marked my dress on where we needed to make changes. It was after this that I found out my alterations were around $400 which is roughly the same price I paid for th... read more

HORRIBLE! My wife and I got married last year on August 27, 2016 and decided to go with davids bridal for her dress because of it being a big store we thought they would have experienced staff. This was not the case at all! My wife and her bridesmaids all went to the store across from limeridge mall on upper wentworth at first everything seemed to be going ok, it was not until they started getting fitted for there dresses that everything went wrong!
