My friend (the bride) had booked me and the bridesmaids in for a dress fitting in the Stratford shop. They sized me and the other bridesmaid up and calculated on paper cm's to UK sizes, firstly if you want to feel crap about yourself go to Davids Bridal. Davids Bridal Stratford was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses to see what style suited me. After trying on 4 dresses, Nicola S, my stylist, went to get a dress which she thought would suit me best. I tried it on and never felt so confident! I had the worst experience in store and since placing my order with David's bridal. In store it took 1hr 30min to place an order as the staff member got cut off in the end she had finished her shift and another staff member had to finish. It took 3 staff members to place one order. We left after 3 hours in store told our dresses would be here in 2 weeks As they are in the UK warehouse and have now been ordered for me. 1 month later dresses not arrived. Please beware of buying from this store. 1. Be warned there is a no refunds policy, which they avoid telling you about throughout your appointment. This stands no matter how badly David’s Bridal mess up your order by the way - there are multiple customer reviews of DB sending the wrong colour, size and dress, missing the wedding date deadline altogether and still refusing to refund customers. Customer service of David’s Bridal is terrible ! I think when all goes well, it is great but when they mess up… they are unable to fix it efficiently ! I ordered my dress on March 2017 for a wedding on October 6th, 2017. Before my order, they told me the dress would arrive on August 20th at the latest. (of course I did all my wedding planning according to this information) On July 7th, I received an email saying that the dress arrived on store. I had my dress shipped to me. My consultant was fantastic. She was so sweet and intuitive. While I did not find my dress she was so helpful in looking at alternatives and options on how to make my experience better. She was also working with a bridal party but was still very attentive to my needs. I appreciate all her help and enthusiasm.

My alteration Consultant was amazing and I also saw the lady who attended to me the first time I went and chose my dress. They are both great and well informed. They put your needs and feelings into consideration with everything they do for you on the day. I would definitely recommend anyone I know to go to David's Bridal.
