I will NEVER step foot in a David's Bridal shop again. We were treated so poorly and with NO compassion for our situation. I live in Redding, Ca and was meeting my daughter ( from Monterey, Ca) in the Modesto area, to find a wedding dress because the family dress she had planned on wearing had been ruined in an attempt to alter. Her wedding was in 5 days so we were pretty desperate and planning on buying a dress that day. We walked in at 5:30pm to look and got approached by an employee who asked if we had an appt. I've had an awesome expirience there until today when I went to take my dress in for alterations. My sister wanted to see if an occasional dress came in a different color and no one would help her with her question so she walked over to a group of employees just standing there chatting away and asked if she could ask them a guestion and they rudely stared and made faces at her. "We left your dress in the dip bucket (of water) on accident." That's the response we got after we came to pick up my fiancee's wedding dress today. After having her dress altered and scheduling an appointment to pick it up 3 weeks later, the dress clearly wasn't ready. Upon arrival my fiancee had to wait 17 minutes before anyone tried to find her dress. They then came back only to tell her they couldn't find it anywhere. **Update: Don't get a credit card through David's Bridal if you can afford it. They do not allow you to choose the due date of your payments and are absolutely inflexible to change it. I already have other bills that cannot be moved on the first of the month, and now I need to pay this bill with that same check because David's Bridal and Comenity Bank REFUSE to change the due date by two days. This takes away from my grocery budget. I know this is way tpo personal but I am beyond pissed at the total and utter lack of custome... read more

Have been in there twice now. First time I went in my "stylist" didn't help at all. Told her what I was looking for and she said ok well look around and I'll open your fitting room, she came back once, ended up getting my dress elsewhere. Only thing I ended up with was my bridesmaid dresses because they were cheap. The last time I went in I told the girl I simply just needed to get one bridesmaid sized, we are ordering all together online. If you're a bride and don't know what to expect when picking out your wedding dress, DO NOT COME HERE! Take your time and be open to looking at other shops. I had the worst experience here and I would also recommend to skip the alteration services. They charge so much and they can't even get the job done right. I had to go back 3 different times because they couldn't do a corset correctly. Even the other lady Tanya was shocked at the work that was done. It was horrible. Go somewhere where it's not just about the money.

Not impressed. I felt like the consultant wasn't really interested in serving me. Received much better service at Group USA in Milpitas without an appointment. Have decided not to buy my wedding gown from David's.

Although our bride said yes to the dress and I felt like our little helper had tons of knowledge and she was friendly, that the young lady who greeted us was in desperate need of help getting off her high horse. Just because someone doesnt comes in looking like those K sisters doesn't give you the right to dismiss us. Money is money. The uppity atmosphere was ugly. Youre only David's bridal. .. not Beverly hills.
