I had read bad reviews about this place but still wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and all the bad reviews were right. They have horrible customer service. I was shopping for my bridesmaids dresses and I did have an appt. We walked in and weren't even greeted, then someone walked up and asked how she could help, I told her I had an appt for bridesmaids dresses. The sales clerk was terrible! I would have spent more but needed to get it over with. All that matters is that our daughter is happy! She deserved better service.
My experience with this place keeps getting worse. I ordered my wedding gown the size they told me to when it came in it was way to dig so they said they would order me the smaller size, but I guess they never did I called to see when my dress would be in an the lady told me she would have to call back with the information. We walked in and waited a long time for someone to help us when we had an appointment that had been set up long in advance. The consultant had zero interest in pulling dresses for us but wouldn't allow us to look around. The generic undergarments they have you use for trying on dresses are dirty and falling apart. When my friend was deciding on a dress she mentioned wanting to come back and suddenly there was an urgency to order now. We get that they're sales people. This place seriously deserves not one star! I've has problems with modesto davids bridal from the start! Was told my dress would take 6 weeks and it took almost 3 months. My bridesmaids dresses as well I was told 6 weeks and took two months. I went to pick up dress and my mother's dress and they were fine, however two of my brides maids shoes came in (dyeable ) and came out a shimmering purple when they were supposed to be pewter grey...to top it off the assistant manager kelly apologized once and said they they could re-ord... read more
