Went to get bridesmaid dresses 1/22 at 1:30 and it was a pretty unpleasant experience. I had an appointment and confirmed that we had 5 people trying on dresses prior to the appointment. We were assigned 1 dressing room that was continually getting moved, which wouldn’t have been an issue if the manager on duty and staff were tactful about it. Screws up my daughters dress multiple times, mixed up the 2 bridesmaids dresses, very rude staff, completely unorganized, and causing us to do everything literally six days before the wedding. All due to their error and they did not offer any discounts or anything for there multiple errors.
Worst experience ever!!! Hey I went today with my daughter so she can try on wedding dresses and it seems a little confusing the person that was helping us was not friendly at all and didn’t help us pick out dresses we sort of felt like we were on our own. The staff really needs to be retrained in customer service. Constant interruptions by co-workers and customers standing around frustrated and feeling ignored and mistreated. The scheduler who sets up appointments for purchasing dresses for Bride, Bridesmaids and flower girl forgets to write down the Bride and they have to scramble to find the right person to help us which was terrible and a long wait. I went to David's Bridal with my sisters who are my maids of honor for my wedding last night. After we ordered our dresses through House of Brides Schaumburg, it truly became a bride's worst nightmare. The dresses for my bridesmaids came in 3 weeks before my wedding on June 30 (after they told us 4-6 weeks before) and not only that, they were AWFUL to deal with. Going to David’s Bridal with a little over half of my bridal party was very exciting- my appointment had been scheduled in advance so we ensured it would be a smooth process once we arrive the day of. However to my surprise my experience was hardly exciting at all after the terrible customer service we received. i will not return to this Davids every; however i will go to another. We did not have an appointment and only wanted to look at colors today. I was told to sign in, and once a lady did come to us, i informed her of the situation, she was short cold and not too helpful. I did ask if i could just LOOK at a certain bridal gown and she said well that's a different department so I can't help you. 99% of the dresses were sleeveless. And limited colors.
Terrible experience with getting my bridesmaids dresses here. First of all to start I made an appointment online and I had 4 bridesmaids getting dresses and my mom and my fiancés mom. When I got that the lady that was assigned to help us was already helping 2 other parties. She was not attentive to us and there was only 2 dressing rooms to share between 6 people.
