I took my dress in to get it altered, paid $220 then when I get there they stitched the top of the dress terribly(not sure why they would hand me the dress while it looked that way). My dress fit perfectly in my legs before I took it in to get altered and today when I tried it on and it was too tight and gathered at the top of the slit, so I had to pay another fee to have them fix it. Needless to say I will NEVER buy any sort of dress from Davids Bridal.

Charged a ridiculous amount for alterations and it was too small! Another person at the same time was having the same problem...they are charging me more to fix their problem!!!
Awesome and lovely store but HORRIBLE consultant!!! Her name is Mercedes and she was completely rude and disrespectful to our group of bridesmaids and to the bride to be! She continuously rolled her eyes and made really snobby comments when she was asked simple questions! Definitely would recommend firing her before losing clients!!
This was the absolute WORST service I have ever seen. We had Mercedes and she was okay until we got to the wedding dresses. Rolling her eyes and making snarky comments. I'm sorry but this is the brides choice not yours! And if she tried on every dress you gave her and she doesn't like it then OH WELL. It's not your wedding it's hers. I was there yesterday to look and try on bridesmaid dresses for my best friends wedding. I walked in five minutes after the bride and was greeted by two of the younger ladies at the front desk. The told me I needed to sign in, I smiled and told them that I was there with a group who was already being helped. The girl gave me a stuck look and turned to the other girl and said "oooook" as she rolled her eyes and laughed. I think your policy to not hold a dress is crazy even if it was for 24 hours. I also think that if you don't have a size and someone needs to order it that you can't even return it if it doesn't fit. If you mandate it being delivered to the store for pick up you can then give the client and opportunity to try the dress on and if it doesn't fit right they have the option to return it with refund. I would never just order a dress without trying it on first because every dress fits differently. You really limit your clients... read more
