The staff was very friendly, professional, and as helpful as they could be. Ultimately, we were given measurements and a recommendation to shop online on websites other than David's. My 7 year old daughter (who wears a size 12) could not be fitted into any children's sizes at David's. The juniors styles were not appropriate for her age or the occasion. The dress selection was great and reasonably priced. We got there early to browse dresses, and the consultant found us promptly. That being said, my consultant acted like she wanted nothing to do with me. She wouldn't help me find dresses and wouldn't find bigger sizes when the dress didn't fit. She was quite verbal about disliking my offbeat wedding style. Other consultants had to assist me and my aunt had to go find other dresses/accessories, because my consultant would disappear. No mirrors in the rooms, no privacy (consultant left door wide open while I was undressed), after the appointment was over and we had picked two possible dresses, we asked how long it would take to get the dresses in. It turned out that one couldn't even come in the right color and the other was going to take 24 WEEKS!!! 24 weeks. So, we had to start all over from scratch with the manager who had a list of which dresses she could get in the right color and size before the wedding. My sales person, Tammie Dudley was great! She took time with me and was so very helpful!!
The associate who helped us was condescending. She never smiled and was abrupt and rude. We did find dresses but it was due to us helping each other than any assistance she gave. The bridesmaids being fitted would ask for a different size but she thought better and brought the size she thought would work. She then had to clip them to make them fit.
