If I could give no stars I would. The day I bought my dress was fine. But when I went back to have it cleaned it was a nightmare!!! I dropped it off in the beginning of June and told them I was in no rush. They called me a week later to tell me my slip was in and I asked if my dress was done and they told me yes. I sent my mom in a few days later to pick it up. They brought the dress out and the dress was still dirty never cleaned but now it was covered in black hairs! I came in unexpected with my mother and children (who are older) to look at dresses. I was really disappointed at the attitude of the girl working the front desk. She did not want to help us. She stated repeatedly that there was no one to help me, even tho a consultant helping another bride said she would. I ended up leaving and finding another bridal salon who was more then happy to help us out. I bought an expensive tiara from here and have not worn it yet, just took it out of the package. One of the pearls fell right out. I call to let them know, they wont even exchange it for a new one. All I want is the same one because the one I got is obviously defective. I really dont want stuff falling off on my wedding day, since it did just removing it from the package.

I was told I’d be on hold for a “moment” & I was on hold for 30 mins before I hung up! Ridiculous. I hung up and called David’s bridal in Dearborn and they helped me within 5 minutes. If it was an issue, I should of been told to call back or should of gotten a call from someone there. Really terrible communication skills.

I’m so very disappointed in the way my alterations appointments have gone. Here we are 3.5 weeks before my wedding and I had my 2:00pm appointment scheduled since the last month. I show up right at 2, was taken to the back where I sat for 40 minutes because I was informed that my dress had difficult material and still needed to be steamed. 2:40 I FINALLY get to put my dress on already frustrated. I purchased my dress from here. Which I thought the lady that helped me was amazing. That day went alright! So we decided to set up an appointment for all my Bridesmaids to try on dresses. I set up an appointment a MONTH before. They were all over the place! Had 7 girls trying on dresses in ONE fitting room. Wrote down sizes wrong, colors wrong. Went there recently cause according to the reviews it was the better one to go to (I'm from warren). But the reviews were wrong. I'm a plus size girl and I'm on a pretty low budget due to a quick change in wedding date and recently finding out I'm expecting. The alterations department ruined my dress, and i was not informed until i arrived to pick it up at my scheduled time. There was no time for a equivalent replacement. The Manager did not have the decency to speak to me directly about the matter. I had to go through the assistant manager, whom i feel bad for because her support team sucks. I expected Davids Bridal to go above and beyond to rectify the situation but they did the bare minimum. Do not spend your money here!!!!
If you were shopping for your wedding gown, it was beautiful. But if you were shopping for your Jr. Brides, flower girl, or bridesmaid dresses, good luck. I actually had an appointment, and the woman that was assigned to me kept leaving us, I had to literally go find her half of the time...everytime I asked a question it was always a "no" not like, "oh, I'll check on that," or any other advice..it was kind of negative.
