For someone who spent thousands of dollars at David’s Bridal just about 3 months ago, I figured today I would have received the same great customer service I did when looking for a dress. I took 2 of my younger bridesmaids with me today, I drove 3 HOURS to even get to this store to only have the WORST help and customer service. The girl was New it was her actual first day, bless her heart, she tried, however nobody would help her (the other employees). We pretty much got to try on 2-3 dresses. Visited on the grand opening with my daughter as she was looking for a formal dress the girl that helped us didn’t give us a chance to look but pretty much picked out the dresses she thought would be best for my daughter however she did end up liking one. I am very disappointed and very mad about the last 2 encounters I've had with David's Bridal in Tyler, Texas. The first upsetting time, my best friend and her bridal party (myself included) went for an appointment for her to try on bridal gowns, and when we got there we had to wait for half an hour past our appointment time because nobody was ready for us. I had an appointment for 1pm on Saturday the 30th for an accessories fitting with my dress and alterations and even went in Thursday to confirm...Upon me getting to my appoint on time I approached the desk to check in the associate placed me and my dress in a dressing room and said someone would be with me after waiting 15 min I had to go and get someone (there were at least 4 associated standing around) they said they thought I was being helped but I was just sitting in the open area where bride's look at themselves in the ... read more

I'm giving the David’s bridal in Tyler a 3 because when we went in to get my wedding dress a couple of weeks ago, it was absolutely the perfect experience. The lady was very helpful and attentive even though she was 8 months pregnant. She put me in multiple dresses and really focused on what I wanted and make my day special. The sales person Danny was great, but the store its self is what I had a problem with. 1 they didn't have dresses in my daughter size to try on. They were either way to big. (20) or way too small (12) nothing in between, therefore she really could not get a real feel for how the dress would fit her body type. 2 as for the bridesmaid. Dresses the lead time for a dress is close to 6 months. Not a great experience bridesmaid dress shopping. There were people running around everywhere, nobody knew who they were helping and we didn't have very good guidance. Ended up leaving and getting bridesmaid dresses elsewhere.
