What can I say about David’s Bridal Virginia Beach is purely awesome!! From walking in the door to take a look for my daughter and setting up an appointment, all for a wedding planned in two weeks!! Yikes, it was crazy but honestly your ladies Irma, Nurdon and Sandy made this process easy. I also work in a service industry with the diamond jewelry side so I truly understand when a client needs a rush service! I needed to take some time to gather my thoughts for this review. So here we go. My mother and I walked into this Davids Bridal to just look at dresses. I really didn't have an idea on what wedding dress I wanted so we were just trying to get any sort of idea. The lady at the front did inform me that I needed to have an appointment to try on dresses. Michelle the "Store Manager" should find another profession. If it was possible to give ZERO stars, that would be my option. I drove 6 1/2 hours to go to my sister's bridal appointment. She purchased a dress online to be shipped to the store (The dress she ordered was not custom, it was a style in the warehouse that this location didn't have so she was assured by customer service that she would be able to REFUND it 14 days after the store physically RECEIVED it, AND the order wasn't even fulfilled at the point of our app... read more

I understand covid is hurting all of us but it’s not an excuse to leave customers in the dark. I called probably 4-5 times when my dress was shipped from the store to my house. The day I went into the store of course they ordered my dress but i decided I thought it was priced way too high, and wanted to look at other options. Everything, texting your company is not free and everytime I call the number I get hung up on and told to text that number. I am so upset with my local David's Bridal. I know they closed because of the virus which is not why I'm upset. I'm upset because are dresses were supposed to be ready for our final dress fitting on the 27th and never received a call stating our appointment was cancelled. I went in for a fitting for a dress for my 50th birthday party in August. The dress was ordered and I had to actually order the dress in a size up and get it altered because the size I needed wouldn't be delivered on time. The date of delivery, my dress was not in the store and when I called, the associate on the phone told me that it would not be in for another two weeks and that I had plenty of time because my event wasn't until the middle of October.
