plumber cam out and said it was not included in 99 special and it was going to cost 248.00 but he would take off the 99 I all ready paid. He said he had to remove the p trap. I told him I would remove the p trap. I told him I was not going pay that. He went and called his boss and lowered it to 148.00. I accepted that because I had all ready paid 99. This is not a good company to use and I will have hard time using Angie's list again. Unclog bathroom sink

Andy did not even tell me that the entire unit cannot be installed. After doing the job he said he cannibalized few things here and there from the new unit and plugged it into the the old unit. He said it should do the job. If he merely took pieces here and there he should have reduced the price. He charged me to fix the entire unit but then retrofitted the old unit with pieces from the new one. Just unfair. Very disappointed with the service. I expressed my disappointment. Phil emailed me about 15 minutes before his scheduled arrival. I had a shower faucet that was leaking and the cartridge needed to be replaced. Phil tried to remove the cartridge but it was stuck and would not come out. He gave me three choices- (a) put everything back together and the leak would remain, (b) keep pulling on the cartridge but if the pipe snapped off in the wall, I would need to do a shower replacement, (c) replace the whole faucet. The technician came in and relighted the pilot. However , he charged me $150 for relighting the pilot over and above the Diagnostic service fee of $89. The technician was courteous. He lighted the pilot as part of his diagnosis. I feel that I have been overcharged. Water heater couldn't be relighted.

I bought a coupon-- $40 for and hour of plumbing work. The plumber was a nice guy and arrived on time, but he said he had no idea how to fix the problem, and instead quoted me a price to replace the *entire* faucet. The base price was something like $250 for a basic faucet that they'd supply and it went up from there for nicer faucets. (Note: They price by the job, not by the hour, which can either be good or bad depending on the job and the skill of the plumber.) Anyway, I told him I'd think about it. I got the coupon, they came by and then gave me a quote. It was around $200 and the job took about 30-40 minutes. I am glad they had the part available in the truck, but I felt it was expensive. I really did not need a plumber, a handy man could have probably handled this job for less. Leaking toilet valve.

The plumber had the means of removing the old part & put in my new part. It took him less than 15 minutes. I needed someone to replace a part in my toilet tank. I had purchased the part, but was unable to twist out the old part.

They sent two different people. The first guy was great. The second guy, I didn't like at all. He was very unpleasant. The job ended up being done; it was fixed but he was just very unprofessional and unpleasant. This was for a Big Deal purchase - They installed a bidet and fixed a toilet leak.
