Came in for lip filler and was unhappy with the asymmetrical results. Went in for a follow up appointment a month later and the practitioner told me she didn't want to "chase the problem" by adding more filler, admitting that there was indeed a problem but that she was unwilling to take accountability for it. The follow up appointment was a waste of time and I left feeling under cared for. I recommend this med spa if you're looking for poorly administered lip filler followed by poor customer service. My experience here is not so good. My first time here was a consultation. I felt like I was at a car dealership where they're just hassling me to buy their makeup and their different products and treatments. I was sent home with several pamphlets that I didn't need. Yes the woman helping me did go over each pamphlet and had a lot of info about each- but none of them were necessarily aimed towards my needs. I was recommended this place by a colleague. She saw an advertisement for specials the clinic was having that week. Booking an appointment was easy enough, the staff very responsive to inquiries and emails/text messages, why wouldn't they? People are spending cash, not receiving free services. I meet a nurse/NP at my appointment who tells me about her experiences with fillers, I ask a ton a questions . I'm nervous, but she answers my questions and begins to start. I chose destination aesthetics to be the place where I'd get my first filler because of the good reviews I've seen. The office is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The receptionist was also very welcoming and kind. I went into my appointment and had a few questions, since it was my first time. DO NOT COME HERE! I had an appt scheduled for 10/3 @ 4:30p and drove all the way out to Folsom only to find out that they were closed. Although their voicemail days they're open until 6pm today. I received a VM yesterday confirming my appt and called back leaving a VM stating I would be there as scheduled. Well they didn't even have the decency to call me and let me know they were closing early! BS. I'm so pissed. I will NEVER come here again or recommend them to anyone. Purchased a GROUPON for a microdermabrasion. Read their stellar reviews on Yelp before purchase. I have left several messages to book an apt, never got a callback. Called GROUPON to cancel my purchase. That is really poor service.
