I had texted the phone line to book my appointment as a first time guest. I had arrived for my appointment & the doors were locked (such as COVID protocols have enforced, which is fine). Heed my warning, do not come here. I was very disappointed with the service I received here back in July. I came in with Melonie to fix my under eye troughs with fillers, expecting a natural result as we had discussed during the consultation. The days following the procedure, I was swollen, as expected. However, even a month later I knew something was off. I really wanted to like this place since it is right across the street from my work (I was driving to Rocklin previously to have it done). Destination aesthetics (Elk Grove) is beautiful, the front desk staff are very friendly, and the person who did my lip flip was super sweet (although I had no results), answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable (Julianne). I decided to give DA a shot for Botox (pun intended) instead of my usual place in EDH. The staff was obviously very knowledgeable, making sure to thoroughly explain everything despite knowing that I had been getting Botox for the last two years. I appreciated it. I explained to the injector that my EDH place referred to me as a cheap date, because my body responds to Botox without needing a ton. I explained that I didn't want my forehead to be frozen. I was introduced to this company last year at the Great Places of Sacramento party/event. What a fantastic impression! The ladies put on quite an awesome booth. I was instantly hooked. People are welcoming. But not even 1 day after my hydra facial I already have breakouts coming out. Crazy! My purpose of having a hydra facial was to reduce breakouts and acne not to add more to it. I'm really disappointed about the outcome. Not coming back! Update: they've reached out to me to work things out for the good with free sesh. Long story short not 100% satisfied with how my lips turned out uneven lips and lower lip way bigger then the top. I spent a lot of money for uneven lips!
Wanted to try the new location so I came in to get a syringe for my under eyes. Melanie was my injector, even though she was nice she made remarks which made me feel uncomfortable. I was a bit late so she said that my numbing time was over which was fine since that was my fault. She cleaned my eyes with a wipe and said oh I love it when my patients are clean. Okay whatever. Came in for lip filler and was unhappy with the asymmetrical results. Went in for a follow up appointment a month later and the practitioner told me she didn't want to "chase the problem" by adding more filler, admitting that there was indeed a problem but that she was unwilling to take accountability for it. The follow up appointment was a waste of time and I left feeling under cared for. I recommend this med spa if you're looking for poorly administered lip filler followed by poor customer service.
