We absolutely loved our one year stay at Dexter! Todd and Kris were wonderful. It's in a great area and is perfect if you're a student
This place is disgusting - avoid at all costs. Rodents courtesy of college students who can't be bothered to put their trash in the chute down the hall, and instead leave it piled anywhere they feel like. Constantly finding barf or spilled food or other messes everywhere. The office staff are fine, and the kind maintenance folks do their best, but the whole place is overrun with tenants who don't care at all about respecting their homes or neighbors. I'm currently living here and I'm so disappointed the service they provide. I pay a lot of rent for the place since it's in a nice area however, the office/maintenance is absolutely ridiculous. We have had a mice problem for weeks and we have put in the complain and nothing has been done about it. They came and saw the space and did nothing about it. Me and my roommates hate coming home because there is a little mouse roaming around in the kitchen which is unhygienic and really unsanitary. We have done everything to keep it ... read more

unprofessional i just called there and was left on hold for 8 minutes!!! so i hung up and am moving on to the next apartment complex ...; absolutely unacceptable & rude to be left on hold for that long!!

Our lease ends in a week, and we were told by management today that they wanted to do some repainting. This is unusual, as most landlords have the courtesy to wait until their residents move out before they repaint the unit, not do it while the residents still live there. However, the agent told us that they were only going to repaint the ceiling of the kitchen and bathroom, where the old paint was peeling off, and said that the painters can come at whatever time best suits our needs. I've been living with Dexter Park for nearly two years. The worst apartment ever. Mice are everywhere in the apartment. Keep losing personal items in the bedroom after maintenance. Keep losing packages and they are not responsible that. Rent keeps going high and apartments are still old. Don't live here since there are many better new apartments around.

Overpriced. They increase the rent by 200 every year. And the maintenance is so bad. Our bathtub gets clogged every month. They fix it its okay for a couple of weeks. Then its clogged again. Talked to them 100 times. Other than that, the management is so rude and unhelpful. There are mice around the building. My bike got stolen from the bike room and they didn't help. A part of the ceiling in my room literally fill. The building is old is they're not keeping it up or renovating it. It's just terrible.
DO NOT COME HERE. It hurts me to even give this apartment one star. We have had an endless list of issues since moving in 3 months ago, with the worst issue being MICE. These mice are dedicated, hungry, and EVERYWHERE. They chew through walls, bags, boxes, etc. Serious health concern. Do not live here. Unlivable conditions!
Avoid! You pay an absurd expensive rent to end up living with mice! I lived here for a whole year and I told the office at least 3 times to solve the mice issue in my apt. Did they try to solve it? No!! The management obviously doesn't care at all! We had to catch mice stuck under the stove. Try to picture the situation here.
