Lived here with my family for the past 4 years. Try to be on the lower floors if you have family. Higher floors if you are a student. Your life totally depends on your neighbors. I have on whose bass is sometime too loud but will turn it down if I send the concierge over. Another neighbor is marijuana and cigarette friendly that definitely wafts down the hallway where my kids play. Come live in Dexter Park, where some aspect of it will infuriate you every single day: Ridiculously high rent? Check. Loud noise day and night? Check. Vomit or trash regularly in the hallways and elevator? Check. Useless concierge and rude, pushy management? Check. Drunk, aggressive meatheads always looking to pick a fight in the lobby? Check. It's a great place to live if you're a BU student. Besides the price, my roommates and I really liked it.
Location is the only thing this apt. complex has going for itself. It is not well maintained, the staff are rude, students are often loud, and it is not at all worth the money!
I had lived here for 3 years. it was a good apartment, clean, spacious, safe. the gym is small, but good eough. laundry is expensive, but convinient. there are lots of young BU, NU students live here. not recommanded for families. occassionally there are crazy parties, could be loud sometimes. there are few things i dont like abt dexter park tho. the parking is way too expensive, almost rediculous. 250(3 years ago) for garage parking!!! the fact that Brookline doesnt allow over night parking, u have no other choice. the mana... read more
