We stopped in for dinner. We wanted brisket, but they were out at 7:30 on a Saturday evening. we ended up ordering the pulled pork. The pork was very good, but we were somewhat disappointed as that was not what we came for. The BBQ beans were ok nad the onion rings my wife ordered we sub par in that there seemed to be very little onion in them. We were very disappointed last night that we did not get to eat here because the rude waitress gave our table away to someone who came in after us. We had waited several minutes for the table, and she refused to let us sit there, telling us we had to order first, then hope to get a seat before our food got cold. We won't be back.
RecommendedBeen going here since Day 1, I have never tasted smoked ribs,pork steaks,burnt ends and even the hamburgers have the best flavor and have never once had to add any sauce to help with dryness... Best customer service anywhere, don't forget to try the sweet tea !!!!
Came at 6:40pm on a Saturday night and they were out brisket, pork steaks, ribs, and burnt ends. Food brought out by server, but never got refills or checked during our dinner. Will not go back based service alone!
When I wait 30 nub for my food I expect it to be hot not cold and dry. Will not be back . Horrible!!!
RecommendedI had an epic fail the other day, we stopped somewhere to eat and I did something I have not done since Doc's opened, epic mistake on my part I ordered what should have been bbq porksteak, when in reality all I got was a piece of dead pig swimming in bbq sauce, a hundred thousand apologies Doc I will never do that again you are the best in my book, may I be porksteak depraved untill I can get back to DOC'S SMOKEHOUSE and CATERING
Service was beyond terrible. Server did not return to our table for drink refills. They were more interested in hanging out on the back. We waited a long time for one of them to come out of the back just to bring carry out containers for leftovers. Next time we will just get it to go. There were only five of the tables occupied so they were not that busy. Food was wonderful as always though.
Was very disappointed. Brisket was bland and had a weird consistency, kind of like spam. Ribs were also bland. Pulled pork was ok....
