We went and it was disappointing to say the least. We had the breakfast bar which had next to nothing on it and what was there was cold and not very appetizing. We left still hungry and won't be going back. They should have left it closed and let everyone enjoy it as a memory.

The customer service was great and the strawberry shake that I ordered was absolutely delicious. The fries were cold and didn't taste well.The onion rings were harder than I would have desired and the patty melt was just ok. I probably will go back if nothing else but for the shakes.

French fries were not done. Did not get what I ordered. Food was not good and we didn't even eat half. Never again

On our third visit Dolly's and they are awesome. The place is busy, Kim the greeter is friendly and she knows my name. We brought two of our kids so they can experience Dolly's for themselves. They now have a picture of Dolly in the entry way!

It was extremely disappointing. I went through their drive thru and ordered their "signature burger" and large fries. The drive thru was slow and I thought I would be getting a fresh and hot burger and fries. The only positive about the burger was they switched to a sesame seed bun. The signature burger was their version of the "Big Boy." The buns seemed smaller and the double patties were thick, which I didn't expect; and they were dark, hard and not hot or warm, after waiting in line for about 10 minutes. I was glad... read more

We stopped by Dolly's Burgers & Shakes on early Saturday evening & they were busy. This is the Big Boy chain from Michigan now in Dayton & Cincinnati. We waited about 5 minutes for a table, they were cleaning & turning tables fast. We reviewed the menu as they have a much larger selection than Frisch's ever did, since this was our first visit we went with the classics fish sandwich & the signature. My brother sent me a picture of the huge pieces of fish on his sandwich he got at a different Dolly's. Just like Frisch's had back in the day. So my husband ordered some on our first visit. My husband's fish and chip dinner came out with lukewarm fries. Not crisp at all. Asked for some hot fries and the great waitress we had immediately got them. Wife and I picked up a meal first day. Their "Signature" burger was good. I'd say a higher quality beef patty than Frisch. The bun was fresher. The sauce is similar. To me the onion rings were virtually identical. The real disappointment were the fries. They had that lukewarm from sitting under a heat lamp for too long texture and taste. And yes.
