Initially I met Dr. Rondeau through a prospecting call. When I did a site tour and saw what he has accomplished on the TMJ side of his practice, I was impressed. I was having issues with headaches, jaw soreness and jaw cracking. I previous had braces and ended up having my jaw realigned 18 months into the braces. I am your “mystery patient” from a couple ratings down. Please educate me on how the following statements show respect to women: 1. I seen this dentist and after imaging he informed me I had tmj. Also did home sleep study which showed I was positive for sleep apnea. He was correct that I have severe sleep apnea. 33x on his report. My family doctor sent me for study in the lab and it showed I stopped breathing 64x per hour. They do vary due to different devices used too measure. I went for further mri and it showed my joints were in normal position which is odd as my jaw clicks on and off. I received treatment for TMJ and orthodontics at rondeau and associates. 4 years post-treatment and I couldn’t be happier with my smile. My migraines are completely gone, along with my clicking jaw. Don’t sleep on it! If you have any of the same issues, you’re only wasting time by not going to get it fixed. Thank you Dr. Rondeau.
Anyone who is considering consulting this man should know that he has been cautioned by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario for, among other things, making diagnoses that he is not qualified to make. You can look it up on the College website for yourself. Everyone should, before consulting anyone who works in a regulated profession, check to see if they have been disciplined or sanctioned in any way by their professional College. I saw this dentist many years ago for TMJ pain and for snoring issues. I was told that my dental plan would pay for my consult; they did, but was not told that further treatment would not be covered. It wasn’t. I was in over $1000 before I left him, and still had nothing to show for it. They told me that the consent form I had signed had explained that my dental plan may not cover all the expenses, but I had never signed the form because they had neglected to give it to me. Went to this clinic for mild to medium sleep apnea. Was fitted with an appliance which stopped my snoring and brutish (was told this was causing me to wake up).Now I have a permanent underbite. It was told to me that my teeth would go back to their original place...wrong. Went back to this clinic a few years back to check on my concerns. Unfortunately, I was treated very poorly by the doctor who seemed not to care about my concerns.
